Online reservations will open from Jan 4 at five banks - DBS Bank/POSB, OCBC Bank, UOB, Standard Chartered and Maybank. Reservations are required before collecting the notes at bank branches. This requirement does not apply to customers aged 60 and above and those with disabilities.
Customer can also get good-as-new banknotes at selected POSB/DBS and UOB ATMs without the need for prior bookings.
Customers can consider digital gifting via PayNow instead of handing out physical red packets. The 10 participating PayNow retail banks are Bank of China, CIMB, Citibank, DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, ICBC, Maybank, OCBC, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB.
The collection for notes pre-booked online, the walk-in option for the elderly and those with disabilities, and withdrawal at DBS’ pop-up ATMS and selected UOB’s ATMs, will start from 11 January.
