FairPrice has issued a Scam Alert on it's Facebook page about pages and posts circulating on various social media offering birthday giveaway allegedly from the supermarket chain. FairPrice has clarified that they neither run nor endorsed these activities. FairPrice also stated that it will only host information on promotions on its official website (www.fairprice.com.sg) or on its social media pages (Facebook: NTUC FairPrice or Instagram: @fairpricesg).
To prevent other users from falling prey to fraudulent social media accounts or scams, you can report any fake Pages and scam posts that you may come across to Facebook for their necessary action.
