In celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday, FairPrice Group (FPG) is bringing the kampung spirit back with two heartland National Day Block Parties in Yishun and Bishan on 2 August 2025.
Get ready for a joyous celebration with family-friendly activities, snacks, games, and meaningful community initiatives — all set against the backdrop of red-and-white cheer. From exclusive SG60-themed treats to engaging booths for visitors to learn about nutrition and wellness, there’s something for everyone.
FairPrice Group will also be distributing 100 goodie bags filled with daily essentials at each block party to lower income families. FPG’s philanthropic arm, FairPrice Foundation (FPF) will also be distributing trays of eggs to lower income families at the block party as part of the Protein Pledge to improve access to nutrition for vulnerable groups in the community.
Activities at the FairPrice National Day Block Parties:
- Snacks & Sips: Sample FairPrice’s new flavoured cashews, matcha latte and enjoy cool sips of Yeo’s Orchid Chrysanthemum Tea.
- FPG Neighbourhood Food Share: Learn about how FPG rescues imperfect edibles to restock community fridges and test your knowledge with a fun game on sorting fruits and vegetables for rescue or composting!
- Start Strong, Stay Strong: Through a game adapted from FairPrice Foundation’s new signature nutrition education initiative, Start Strong, Stay Strong, children will be able to explore vibrant food groups and essential nutrients, learning how to match key nutrients and food to support different functions in their bodies.
- Egg-venture Explorers: FairPrice Foundation’s Protein Pledge is a newly hatched initiative to bring fresh protein to those in need. Visitors at the Block Parties will be given a stamp card to complete interactions at different booths. Upon completion of the various stations, attendees will be able to redeem a tray of 10 fresh eggs, while stocks last.
- Complimentary Health Check with On-site Unity Pharmacist: Participate in a complimentary Body Composition Analysis using the Tanita Machine, with personalised health advice provided by Unity pharmacists. Don’t miss the Digital Spin & Win to get a chance to win exciting prizes too.
