Sony Singapore proudly announces the return of Alpha Fest 2025, happening from 17 to 19 October 2025 at Plaza Singapura, Level 1. This year’s theme, “Seasons in Japan,” takes attendees on a visually immersive journey through four seasonal environments — spring, summer, autumn, and winter — each designed to inspire creators to capture beauty through the Sony Alpha lens.
Visitors can step into Japan’s changing landscapes, from a serene Spring Garden filled with soft blooms to the vibrant Summer Matsuri, complete with traditional festive charm. The Autumn Alleyway offers warm tones and nostalgic textures ideal for street photography, while the Winter Onsen evokes calm and intimacy for more atmospheric compositions. Each space serves as a creative playground to test Sony’s latest imaging technology, including the newly announced FE 100mm F2.8 Macro GM OSS lens, available for pre-order during the event.
Workshops and Learning Opportunities
Alpha Fest 2025 continues Sony’s tradition of fostering creativity and learning, with seventeen curated workshops led by renowned industry experts. Highlights include sessions with international street photographer Tavepong Pratoomwong, alongside Nikko Pascua’s Street Photography 101 and Thomas Goh’s Product Videography 101. These sessions aim to equip both enthusiasts and professionals with practical knowledge, hands-on skills, and artistic inspiration to elevate their craft.

More than just an exhibition, Alpha Fest 2025 celebrates community and creativity. Attendees can participate in the Alpha Universe SG Photo Contest, creative challenges, and an activity card quest across thematic zones.
