FairPrice Group Expands Price Freeze Initiative To Over 300 Daily Essentials, Waive Online Service Fee For CHAS Cardholders

FairPrice Group has announced a significant expansion of its price freeze initiative, joining forces with more than 30 of Singapore's largest food and grocery suppliers to protect consumers from escalating grocery costs. Participating brands include Nestlé, New Moon, Lee Kum Kee, Colgate, and Head & Shoulders. The initiative reflects a unified industry commitment to safeguarding Singaporeans' cost of living amid ongoing supply chain disruptions linked to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

Effective 23 April 2026, FPG's original price freeze, first announced on 8 April 2026, has been substantially expanded to include hundreds of additional household staples. New additions span categories such as breakfast cereals, coffee mixes, packaged noodles, condiments, oral care, and personal care products, ensuring that a broader range of everyday purchases remain affordable for Singapore families. All price-protected products will remain at their current rates through 31 May 2026, giving households predictability and confidence in their grocery budgets.

Enhanced Support for CHAS Blue and Orange Cardholders

To deepen its support for lower income families, FPG is also waiving online order service fees for CHAS Blue and Orange cardholders. This follows the Group's previously announced doubling of its CHAS Blue and Orange cardholder discounts till May 31 2026.

Seamless Digital Savings Through MYINFO integration

To make these benefits as accessible as possible, FPG integrated MyInfo into the FPG App in May 2025, enabling automatic application of eligible discounts at checkout. This includes weekly senior discounts and CHAS-specific rebates, removing the need for manual claims or voucher management.
