ComfortDelGro Opens Free Autonomous Shuttle Rides to Punggol Public From June 22

ComfortDelGro opened its autonomous shuttle service to the public in Punggol on June 22, offering free rides to residents. The service runs daily, with Mondays and Fridays reserved for group bookings, families, and passengers needing assistance.

The current route takes about 25 minutes and links Block 420A Northshore Drive, Punggol Coast Mall, and One Punggol (Sam Kee LRT station). A longer 50-minute loop is planned from July.

Members of the public and residents in Punggol who are keen to experience the autonomous shuttle service can book their free ride on CDG's Zig mobile app. They may also do so via CDG's website

Bookings are required for those who wish to take the rides.

ComfortDelGro is one of two operators running autonomous shuttle trials in Punggol, part of Singapore's broader effort to bring driverless transport into its public transit network. The other operator, Grab, has already carried more than 5,000 passengers and logged over 60,000km of autonomous driving since opening its service to the public in April.
