From 24 July to 23 August, City Square Mall (CSM) is running a month-long campaign that spans irresistible social media giveaways, F&B promotions and events, live entertainment, local crafts, community-driven photography programmes and shopping rewards. There is something for everyone to look forward to as we celebrate our nation's 61st birthday.
$1 Drink
Throughout the whole month, you can save on your indulgence and protect the environment while doing it. Redeem a selected drink for just $1 (U.P $2 to $5.90) at 4 participating stores when you bring along any reusable flask or tumbler through the CityNexus mobile application.

Mao Shan Wang Durian Party

Ms Durian is back at CSM and throwing a much anticipated durian party. For all durian enthusiasts, this durian party is the perfect event to visit over the weekend. Attendees will enjoy an all-you-can-eat spread of premium Mao Shan Wang sourced directly from Johor and Pahang, alongside free-flow fresh seasonal fruits, a fresh Thai coconut, and mineral water. Eco Mama Photography Adventure
Date: 29 August 2026 Venue: City Square Mall
Eco Mama Photography Adventure organised by Singapore Cosplay Club (SCC) makes its debut on 29 August. Featuring CSM's adorable sustainability mascot, Eco Mama, this photography adventure is a monthly recurring programme. Through a guided photography challenge, participants will accompany Eco Mama on a storytelling adventure through CSM and learn all about sustainable habits we can all adopt.
The 3-hour long programme is conducted by visual storytelling educator and creator of Takahan Toy Art Museum, Takahan Tan, who will be imparting fundamentals of photography and visual storytelling skills. Participants can put their new found skills to use in fun team-based challenges that will bring them on a unique adventure throughout CSM.
Prior photography experience is not required, and participants are welcome to use their smartphones or cameras, as long as the equipment is accessible to them.
Saturday Night Fever @ CSM
Date: 8 August 2026 Time: 6:30PM to 8:30PM
Location: B1 Green Square
From 6:30PM to 8:30PM, celebrate the nation's 61st birthday at the Saturday Night Fever @ CSM, a performance spotlighting local singing talents. Attendees who join the festivities in red or white attire can redeem a Singapore flag, festive face painting and balloon sculpting sessions.
Additionally, if you have got a hidden talent, CSM is on the hunt for new faces to showcase their talents at CSM's Talentime Showcase organised on the last week of every month, a free and friendly community stage that highlights talents from singing to magic. Interested parties can sign up here.
National Day Giveaway

Mad About Singapore
Date: 27 July to 2 August 2026 Venue: Level 4 Gastro Square
In celebration of National Day, CSM presents a community-driven photography exhibition Mad About Singapore, held in collaboration with @InstaSG and Nikon Singapore. Designed to empower local photographers and foster a collaborative creative community, visitors can look forward to a gallery of works by talented local photographers that honour everyday Singaporean stories. Visitors can also pick up a few photography tips from the video reels shared by Nikon Creators.
The pictures in this exhibition will also be put together into a photo book, forming a visual archive of Singapore's stories and an inspiration for future generations of photographers. These photo books will be accessible through public and school libraries to celebrate local voices and encourage more Singaporeans to document the beauty of everyday life in Singapore.
For beginners that are interested in learning more about the fundamentals of photography, there will also be a photography workshop held on 1 August 2026, from 5:00PM to 6:30PM. In collaboration with Nikon Singapore, the session offers participants hands-on experience without the need for personal equipment. Attendees will be provided with Nikon cameras to capture moments throughout the venue during a 30 to 45 minute guided photo walk.
SG61 - Unity in Diversity (Largest Cardboard Installation)

To celebrate SG61, CSM will be unveiling their 'SG61 - Unity in Diversity' installation made with recycled cardboard boxes and cartons, which will be setting a new Singapore Book of Records (SBOR) record for Largest Cardboard Installation.
Local Entrepreneur Market

As National Day approaches, CSM's upcoming Local Entrepreneur Market, organised in collaboration with TCartel, is the perfect way to celebrate Singapore's 61st birthday.
