Spend the last weekend of August at Tanglin Mall’s Eco Farmers’ Market on 29 and 30 August, as Tanglin Mall and Little Farms transform the Level 1 Atrium and Outdoor Pedestrian Walkway into a vibrant marketplace celebrating fresh produce, conscious living and community spirit.
Across the two-day event, visitors can explore more than 20 brands spanning groceries, artisan food, lifestyle and wellness, alongside workshops, tastings and family-friendly activities.
On 29 August, six life-sized sustainability mascots, presented with support from the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE), will engage families through storytelling, meet-and-greet sessions and photo opportunities. Foodies can also look forward to olive oil and Super Seed Energy Ball tastings, a parent-and-child healthy salad-making workshop, the Grobrix Kids Farmers Workshop and a Honey Discovery Workshop.

2. Give unwanted materials a new lease of life at Lendlease Malls
Lendlease malls is turning its sustainability initiative, You Won’t Believe It’s Trash (Y.W.B.I.T.), into A New Lease of Life, a year-round movement encouraging more sustainable everyday choices.
From now to 30 August, 12pm to 9pm, shoppers can head to the Level 1 Atrium at 313@somerset to explore the top 10 finalist works from a design competition with Temasek Polytechnic School of Design. The student designers have transformed unwanted materials into innovative and functional products, with visitors invited to vote for their favourite design.
The winning designer will receive S$3,000 in Lendlease vouchers, while runners-up will receive vouchers of up to S$500.
Shoppers can also take part in a roving collection drive, dropping off everyday recyclables such as plastic bottles, aluminium cans, paper and textiles in exchange for Lendlease Plus$. Rewards include 200 Plus$ per plastic bottle or aluminium can, 1,000 Plus$ per 1kg of paper and 2,000 Plus$ per 1kg of textiles.
