YOUTRIP SPLIT LAUNCHES ON 17 SEPTEMBER WITH CHANCE TO WIN YOUR TRIP BACK
YouTrip has launched YouTrip Split, a new feature designed to make managing expenses on group trips easier. The launch follows its Group Travel Expense Report, which found that 1 in 3 Singaporeans have fought over money after a group trip, while 21% said they would not travel with the same group again.
YouTrip Split automates group expense tracking and allows users to settle bills in SGD or the charged currency, helping address common issues such as keeping track of shared spending and sending payment reminders.
To mark the launch, YouTrip is running two giveaways from 17 September to 14 October 2026. The Win Your Trip Back campaign gives eligible groups a chance to have their trip expenses refunded, capped at S$5,000 per group, with three winning groups. A separate social giveaway will reimburse up to S$200 for five selected Instagram or TikTok submissions featuring group travel plans or chaotic travel moments.
- Win Your Trip Back (Up to S$5,000): Users who opt in and create a YouTrip Group Split with at least 3 people earn a chance to get their entire group's trip refunded. The more friends in the split, the more entries the group gets! At the end of the campaign, 3 winning groups will be drawn (refunds capped at S$5,000 per group).
- "Chaotic Travel" Social Giveaway (Up to S$200): Users can share their group trip plans or most chaotic travel moments on Instagram and TikTok by tagging YouTrip. The five most creative or chaotic submissions will have their split reimbursed.
