Christmas is getting a whole lot sweeter at Downtown East! From 16 November to 31 December 2026, Downtown East transforms into a candy-inspired wonderland with A Sweet Christmas, bringing together festive entertainment, family-friendly activities, colourful photo opportunities and exciting waterpark adventures.
Whether you're planning a fun-filled day with the kids or simply looking to soak up the Christmas atmosphere, there's plenty of holiday cheer waiting to be discovered.
Step Into a Candy-Themed Christmas Village
At the heart of the celebrations is the Sweet Christmas Village at Event Square, where larger-than-life candy decorations, charming gingerbread houses and whimsical photo spots set the scene for a magical festive outing.
Families can browse the Christmas market, held from Fridays to Sundays, 12pm to 8pm, until 20 December, while children enjoy interactive puzzles and activities.
The festive excitement continues with bubble shows every weekend until 20 December and the ever-popular Piñata Smash every Sunday at 2pm, where children aged 12 and below can try their luck at winning attractive prizes.
Adding to the Christmas spirit are acoustic performances every Saturday and Christmas carolling sessions every Sunday from 21 November to 19 December at 12pm. Special carolling performances will also take place on selected December Saturdays, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Make a Sweet Splash at Wild Wild Wet
The Christmas celebrations extend beyond the shopping and entertainment areas to Wild Wild Wet, where families can enjoy a refreshing escape from the year-end heat.
From 1 November to 31 December 2026, the waterpark gets a festive makeover with giant, colourful floats inspired by gummy bears, doughnuts, macarons and popsicles. These playful decorations, found along Shiok River and Tsunami Pool, offer plenty of opportunities for memorable family photos.
For those planning a visit, Wild Wild Wet is also offering special year-end ticket packages starting from $21 for a Child Off-Peak Day Pass, with sweet treats included. Babies can enjoy complimentary entry throughout December, subject to terms and conditions.
Visitors can also check out the newest Lickers outlet at Wild Wild Wet, featuring an exclusive Jasmine Tea & Mango ice cream flavour.
Festive Shopping with Sweet Rewards
Christmas wouldn't be complete without a little gifting, and Downtown East is adding extra cheer to the shopping experience.
From 16 November to 31 December 2026, shoppers who spend $80, or $70 for NTUC members, can redeem an adorable mini lollipop piñata. Those spending $140, or $130 for NTUC members, can redeem a Christmas-themed thermal lunch box carrier.
